QLED itself is an LED TV that uses quantum point technology to improve sharper and contrasting image performance.
Samsung claims, QLED can present a higher level of brightness but still comfortable to see.
The QLED can also create a color volume that is more thick to a fullness of 100 percent.
Therefore, QLED TVs can accurately display all colors including in various brightness conditions, about 1,500 to 2,000 nits.

For information, Samsung QLED TV has also received accreditation for screens featuring color volumes up to 100 percent.
The accreditation was first made in 2017 and awarded by the world-class certification and testing association, Verband Deutscher Elektrotechniker (VDE).
Use of New Materials
Technological breakthroughs offered by Samsung is a result of the adoption of the use of new metal alloy materials for quantum dot.
The use of the material allows the TV to significantly display an improved color range, and better detail than conventional television.
Engineer Samsung TV R & D Team Martin Kim said the latest Quantum dots technology is also capable of displaying more dark black color.
